about Josephine
As a Creative Visionary, I show up in the World in the way the World needs at each moment. My calling comes from Source, and I am guided by my deep connection to this planet Earth, also known as Mama Gaia.
In 2001, the World needed coders, so I become an IT Consultant; I learned Java, C++, SQL, Peoplesoft and I trained others how to code.
In 2003, the World needed to wake up surrounding our connection to Source via food – I worked with chefs forging a deep connection to Source via the Farm-to-Table movement. This movement awakened the consciousness of the world surrounding the importance of our ingredients, where our food came from and the connection we have to the air, the soil, the plants and the animals.
In 2006, the World showed me that hospitality wasn’t the medium to move this forward. And I aligned with chef Greg Christian and started a non-profit called Organic School Project, and subsequently a for-profit consulting company Beyond Green Partners, whom I still work with today as a Food Systems Consultant.
In 2008, I became a Mother and devoted my life full-time to raising my 3 boys.
In 2017, the World needed more delight, so I launched CUR(8) Chicago as an experience designer/consultant for visionaries, entrepreneurs and founders.
In 2020, the World needed healing - for me it was a mental health awareness journey in which I self-selected out of traditional Western medical treatments and big pharma solutions, and instead chose an alternative healing path of Ayurveda. I awakened to my inner Remembrance of my soul’s purpose as a Priestess, to be connected to the Divine via the Interconnectedness of All, to Recognize our embodied wholeness + holiness and to Reclaim Eros as our birthright: Temple of Loha was born.
LOHA is Sanskrit for iron, the iron in the swords and shields of the Warrior within All and the Priestess/Daka/Dakini within those who answer the Call. It is also the iron within our blood, the sacred elixir that binds us as humans and what defines us as Unique Self Symphonies. We are differentiated by blood, by LOHA, and unified in the mission to protect this planet and Her people.

Josephina Loha, Founder of Temple of Loha
Josephine Lauer, who prefers to go by her Priestess name Josephina, is an Embodiment Guide and trauma-informed Somatic Intimacy Coach. She curates bold, brave, safe and sacred spaces for humans to explore their fullest, rawest most authentic expressions in order to achieve a more embodied existence - the harmonization of the mental body, the physical body, the emotional body and the soul. Josephina guides her clients on somatic healing journeys utilizing the body’s innate technology of breath, sound, movement and touch, resulting in greater clarity, increased vibrancy and overall sense of well-being.
With a rich background in sacred sexuality practices and energy work, Josephina guides individuals and couples on a journey to cultivate profound intimacy, emotional awareness, and enhanced communication. Her approach fuses her training as a Tantric Practitioner, a certified Somatic Sexologist and as a Mother of 3, who was married for 18 years and is now consciously co-parenting
She is the founder of CUR8Chicago, a boutique consulting firm for embodied leaders, and Temple of Loha, an esoteric arts curation haus here to Awaken the Sacred REmembrance within All. Her unique coaching approach blends her Ivy League education, her corporate consulting & high-end hospitality background with practices from Somatics, Spirituality/Esoteric Traditions, and Shamanism. Josephina resides in Chicago, IL and travels often. She passionately advocates for the rebuilding of Local Food Systems via embodied leadership, and connecting humans to Source energy via Mother Earth. She is dedicated to fostering a new paradigm that honors the Earth and embraces the diverse expressions and experiences of all people. Her podcast, "Universal Intimacy," explores connections with the Self, others, nature, and the cosmos.
